Meditation: just listening – silent awareness (in German)
A guided Zen meditation to follow along: simply sit, listen, perceive.
Zen meditation in a small group – learn silent sitting with personal guidance, in Prenzlauer Berg.

Zen meditation is a structured training of awareness. At its centre is silent sitting (zazen) in an upright posture – awake, attentive, present. Zen has its roots in Chinese Chan Buddhism and was developed further in Japan; it combines precision in practice with immediate everyday relevance.
Each session begins with a gentle breathing exercise. You then receive a personal meditation task tailored to your level of experience. Between two silent phases, a short walking meditation connects body and presence.
This is how you can learn to meditate – or deepen an existing practice.
Studies on mindfulness and silent sitting meditation (e.g. from MBSR research) show effects on perceived stress, attention and rumination. Meditation trains the “musculus attentionis” – the ability to direct attention consciously. More on our Science page.
12 years of Zen practice, 100 hours of meditation teacher training (Non-Dual Shiva Tantra), plus trauma-sensitive Breathwork training. Groups are small (max. 5) so that everyone receives personal guidance.
