Breathwork 1:1 as a home visit
The private session in your own home – in your familiar space.

Description
Rebirthing Breathwork is a gentle yet deeply effective form of breathwork developed by Leonard Orr in the 1970s. At its heart is connected breathing – a continuous, flowing breath rhythm with no pause between inhaling and exhaling. Through this conscious breathing process, physical and emotional tension can release and unconscious patterns can become visible.
The name Rebirthing doesn't refer to an esoteric concept, but to the experience of inner renewal: when the breath flows freely, held emotions, memories or stress responses can be gently integrated. After a session, many people report deep relaxation, mental clarity and a stronger sense of trust and aliveness.
Slow, conscious breathing can have a measurably calming effect (e.g. higher heart rate variability); intense connected breathing briefly changes blood gases and can thereby trigger strong physical and emotional responses. What the evidence shows – and what it doesn't – is explained on our Science page.
A session takes place in a safe, protected setting. I accompany the process with mindfulness, verbal support and a clear structure. This work is especially suited to people who long for more calm, emotional balance and a deeper connection with themselves.
Where connected breathing can support you
Stress regulation
- Meta-analyses of randomised trials show small to moderate effects on self-reported stress
- Shift from activation into deep rest after the breathing phase
Emotional processing
- Feelings that find no room in everyday life can surface in a safe setting
- Integration at your own pace – you decide the intensity
Body awareness
- conscious contact with sensations (interoception)
- more presence in the body after the session
Note: many studies are small; individual effects cannot be promised. More on the Science page.
This breathing practice supports a holistic integration of body, emotion and consciousness and fosters inner clarity, presence and regeneration.
